An automated tax document converter for Slovenian investors. Upload PDF statements from Trade Republic, Revolut, or Interactive Brokers, and EdImport extracts dividends and interest data — then generates FURS-compliant XML files ready for direct import into the eDavki tax portal.
Every year, Slovenian investors with foreign brokerage accounts face the same tedious task: manually extracting dividend and interest data from dozens of PDF pages and reformatting it into FURS-compliant tax documents. EdImport automates this entire process, reducing what typically takes 30-60 minutes of careful data entry down to under 5 minutes.
The tool uses PDF.js to extract text from brokerage statements while preserving layout information, then applies pattern matching to identify ISIN codes, company names, payment dates, gross amounts, and withholding taxes. A built-in company dictionary normalizes data for major holdings like Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and others.
EdImport generates two types of official XML documents: Doh-Div for dividend income reporting and Doh-Obr for interest income. Both conform to the exact XSD schemas required by FURS, so they import cleanly into the eDavki portal without manual corrections.
Privacy is paramount when handling financial documents. EdImport processes everything in your browser — no data is ever transmitted to a server. Your brokerage statements, tax numbers, and financial details never leave your device.
Currently supporting Trade Republic PDFs, Revolut CSVs, and Interactive Brokers exports, EdImport is actively developed with new broker integrations planned based on community feedback.
EdImport is part of the RatataLabs public catalog because it has a specific use case, a live browser entry point, and enough supporting context for visitors to evaluate it before opening the app. The page records what the product does, what category it belongs to, and which practical problem it is meant to solve.
RatataLabs keeps these product pages visible so players, users, search engines, and AI answer systems can connect the app to its guides, policies, contact route, and broader development notes. That supporting context matters as much as the launch link.
