This Privacy Policy explains how RatataLabs collects, uses, and protects information when visitors use ratatalabs.com and related applications, including Plokk, HevyDuty AI, SimplBiz, and EdImport.

Information Collection

Across RatataLabs services we may collect usage data through analytics, authentication data when a product requires sign-in, and generated content when an app needs it to provide the service. Some products also use local browser storage for preferences or draft data.

Product-Specific Privacy

HevyDuty may use user-provided fitness goals and API keys stored locally on the device. SimplBiz stores financial records in the user-owned Google Drive account. EdImport processes brokerage statements in the browser so tax files do not need to be uploaded to a RatataLabs server.

Third-Party Services

RatataLabs uses trusted third-party services such as Google Firebase for hosting and authentication, Google Analytics for aggregate measurement, Google Gemini API for AI-assisted product features, and advertising services where enabled and allowed by consent.

Cookies

Cookies and browser storage may be used to maintain session state, analyze traffic, remember settings, and support advertising preferences. Visitors can manage cookies in their browser or through available consent tools.

Data Minimization

RatataLabs tries to keep product data limited to what each app needs to work. Public content pages can be read without creating an account. Where a product can process information locally or in a user-owned account, that approach is preferred over collecting extra server-side records.
