Plokk is full of color and the satisfaction of a good line clear. Our next puzzle, Tria, is taking a quieter path.
Tria is a rune-matching tile puzzle set in a Nordic-inspired world of snow, stone, and aurora. You uncover stones, move them into a tray, and match three alike. The rule sounds small. The decision about which stone to uncover next is where the puzzle begins.
Three alike, a little space
A visible pair can make a third matching rune tempting. But taking a stone also uses space in your tray, and uncovering a layer may reveal a more useful choice beneath it.
We want the board to reward patient observation: looking at what is available, noticing what your tray needs, and thinking about what a move might uncover. A little space can matter as much as a promising match.
A world worth pausing in
Tria’s current artwork takes its cues from snowy landscapes, weathered stone, and cool northern light. The sanctuary image on the game page is a look at that atmosphere.
The illustrations are fantasy artwork. Their decorative carvings are not language-learning examples. We keep that distinction clear when showing the game’s world and its rune-related material.
Still in the workshop
Tria is coming soon. The game and the screenshots shown on its page are in development, and details may change before release.
We are finishing and testing the game before announcing availability. There is no release date or Microsoft Store listing to share yet. We will publish those details when they are ready, along with the actual supported features.
Follow the next steps
The studio updates section is where we will share more about Tria as it takes shape. There is no account or mailing list to join on this website; you can return here for new posts.
For now, take a first look at Tria. If you fancy a puzzle you can play today, Plokk is ready in your browser.
